SUMMARY:Lunch seminar: Individual test designer performance
DESCRIPTION:Lunch seminar hosted by Theme1:\nIndividual test designer performance – an elephant in the room or an asset for improvement? \nSpeaker: Kristian Sandahl Linköping university \nIt is often heard that the quality of test code suffers compared to production code. A frequent problem is flaky tests\, where it is time consuming to determine the credibility of the test. The underlying assumption of this planned research is that probable causes can depend on the way humans design test cases and that a good part of the problems might have been discovered with static analysis of the test code. Remedies can be sought in identifying training needs\, finding good patterns for test design\, and applying automatic code repair. \nThis research involves acquiring sensitive information\, and I would like to discuss with the audience how this can be handled.
