SUMMARY:Lunch seminar: Why data for AI needs context
DESCRIPTION:Most welcome to the Software Center Brown Bag seminar on November 8th:\n”Setting AI in context: Why data for AI needs context”\nThe seminar is hosted by theme 4 (‘Customer Data and Ecosystem Driven Development’) and we are happy to welcome Hans-Martin Heyn as our speaker. Hans-Martin is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers/University of Gothenburg. \nFor automated driving systems the operational context needs to be known in order to state guarantees on performance and safety. We show\, based on semi-structured interviews\, that major uncertainties exist in how to clearly define and document the operational context in a diverse and distributed development environment such as the automotive industry. This is problematic especially for systems using machine learning\, because data attributes and data quality for training and validation depends on the assumed context of the system. Based on Design Science Research\, we propose a Data Quality Assessment and Maintenance Framework\, to systematically manage data quality and related requirements. \nMost welcome to the seminar and please share this invite with your colleagues! \nAlso\, please note that everyone interested in getting the invites for the Brown Bag seminars can sign up using the following link: https://lists.chalmers.se/mailman/listinfo/sc_bb \n______________________________________________________ \nMicrosoft Teams meeting \nJoin on your computer or mobile app \nClick here to join the meeting \nOr call in (audio only) \n+46 8 505 252 11\,\,335136139#   Sweden\, Stockholm \nPhone Conference ID: 335 136 139# \nFind a local number | Reset PIN \nLearn More | Meeting options \n______________________________________________________ \n— Sc_bb mailing list Sc_bb@lists.chalmers.se https://lists.chalmers.se/mailman/listinfo/sc_bb
