SUMMARY:Reporting workshop in Linköping: Quality assurance of AI and AI generated software
DESCRIPTION:Warmly welcome to the Software Center Reporting Workshop hosted at Ericsson in Linköping on June 10th\, 2025. Software Center (www.software-center.se)\, is a collaboration between 15 global companies and five Swedish universities focused on accelerating the digital transformation of the European software intensive industry. People use AI to improve their own personal productivity and to automate specific steps in a process. During R&D of products\, AI agents are used to support and automate e.g.\, test case generation and we also see examples of AI agents being used to complement a team in areas where team members lack skills. \nHowever\, we see few examples in which AI is used to fundamentally reinvent existing tasks\, work practices and organizations. Ingo Weber is also Director of Digital Transformation and ICT Infrastructure at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Before moving to Munich\, he was Full Professor of Software and Business Engineering at Technische Universität Berlin from 2019 to 2022. Before that\, he spent ten years in Sydney\, Australia\, where he worked for the research institutions CSIRO\, NICTA and UNSW.
