Sustainability is a vital aspect of any business; software engineering is no exception.
It is well-known that individuals, state agencies and companies all have to contribute to limit the negative effects of climate change and the biological environment. Other dimensions necessary for a sustainable future are Social, Individual, Technical, and Economic. The latter four are highly relevant for Software Center as work of engineers changes rapidly with the use of Large-Language Model based assistant tools.
Project description
The project works on three topics in parallel:
- Creating and maintaining the CoDig sustainability plan
- Comparing frameworks for sustainable software engineering
- Defining aspects of mental harm in system security risk management
