The vision of the project is to identify and implement the key measurement practices, for maximizing the value obtained from measuring.
The mission of the project is to provide a generic metrics portfolio, to the product development organizations of the involved companies, by identifying the most useful/valuable metrics.
We also work on the specific questions related to productivity measurements in software projects (10x better productivity measurements)

Software development organizations transitioning from traditional approaches to an approach where functionality is continuously deployed may need alternative metrics to reflect on their organizational performance. This requires a critical review of the existing set of performance metrics, an analysis of how these metrics are used (if at all) and, subsequently, the development of an applicable, relevant and non-intrusive set of performance metrics for a lean, agile, global, continuously deploying organization. The first sprint focused on establishing current state and developing a few first “teaser metrics”, where the second sprint will focus on developing a prototype of comprehensive fully automated framework which we will propose to deploying at the partner companies.
