Call for participation in an investigation in Continuous Integration Visualization

We seek your interest as a participant for our project title “continuous integration visualisation”. This project is based on an Eiffel protocol (https://github.com/eiffel-community/eiffel) that is being deployed in some of the Software Center companies. We have developed a tool (https://github.com/eiffel-community/eiffel-store) to visualise continuous integration pipe-line and current research is to find the truly needed use-cases for visualisation of events in the CI/CD flow and validating different approaches for visualisation. An expected output will consist of a table mapping stakeholders to identified use-cases. For each of the entries in the table we will expect to rate the utility of the visualization approach at hand. The evaluation will consider both technical performance, layout of the GUI, and documenting the practical use of visualisation amongst co-workers.

Since, you have not deployed the Eiffel protocol in your CI/CD pipe-line, this is a unique opportunity to learn about Eiffel and visualisation tool. We will give you a demo and explain the protocol as well as visualisation tool at hand.

We are sharing, below, the excel sheet to seek your availability for a Skype interview for one hour each. Please contact azeem.ahmad@liu.se, if you believe that the dates, in the below file, are not flexible, so that he can add more dates.

We are attaching some files so that you can read about Eiffel. The file named “EiffelMeetingDraft.pptx” presents the research protocol such as data collection, validation and question that we may ask during the interview. One more attached file describes what Eiffel is. Please feel free to ask anything that can help you to participate in this project.
